High Accuracy Pipe Fusion Thermometer Kit. Verify surface temperature of your pipe ends to ensure the proper temperature range prior to joining the pipe sections. At a minimum, the model PFP-Kit-1 should be used before the first joint of the day is made and periodically throughout the day to ensure proper temperature of the heating tool face that contacts the pipe or fitting ends.  Provides accuracy of ±0.5F° (±0.3C°) over entire measurement range at ambient temperatures from 68°F to 86°F (20°C to 30°C).
