The probe is calibrated with the instrument to deliver a TRUE ±0.9F° accuracy for the 35232 and 35240 and requires no additional calibration - ever! The heavy-duty patented probe cable is reinforced with Kevlar and a metal braid that neatly wraps and stows around the instrument.Model 35232-N thermometer includes the model 55032-N DuraNeedle probe and is best used for dense meats and soft frozen foods.
