Bamboo Charcoal is mainly used to improve water quality to enhance the flavor of tea. Wash charcoal underwater to wash off black charcoal dust, soak in a small container of clean water for one day. Add cleaned charcoal to water and soak for at least 1 night prior to use for tea. Use 3-4 pieces of charcoal for 1-2 gallon container. You can add 2 pieces of charcoal in water boiler as well. 8 pieces, approximately 6 inches long
