Guilty Grub | Shou

One of the more out-there teas for new tea drinkers, shou pu'er, or cooked pu'er tastes impossibly earthy.   It brews up black as night and has some sweet savory depths to it.  Despite its strangeness, this tea doesn’t tend toward bitterness and brews up sweet and easy with very little effort, making it a great introduction to tea.   While this is medium fermented, instead of fermented into the abyss, it still reminds us of sitting in a forest after the rain.
