HYDRA is the first dual optic mount designed for end-users that offers a 2.91” Optic Centerline for faster target ID, regardless of gear/ equipment obstructions, ie. EarPro/Comms headsets, Gas masks/ CBRN, and Night vision use. A higher Optic allows for a more athletic posture and “Heads up” attitude that enables the end-users to maintain a vertical spine which translates to body armor or “presenting plates” to the threat. This “Heads up” style allows for faster processing speed and increased situational awareness. The unique and patented design offers an elevated MIL-STD-1913, or Picatinny platform for directly attaching accessories such as lights, optics, and aiming devices. It’s perfect for the super short PDW/SMG platforms where rail space is limited but the need for mounting a light and laser is still critical.
