It is constructed of the most durable/breathable fabric Gore Has to offer. Gore-Tex BD450 3 Layer 40D Nylon Ripstop. With SCHOELLER Keprotec Instep to reduce abrasion with boots or crampons. The Alpha has 2 leg pockets for gloves or documents, venting leg zippers that also make it easier to get pants on and off with boots.
