
Tapas Time in Madrid 08/23/25
Skip the airport and let our Chef take you on a guided culinary tour of the La Latina neighborhood of Madrid, home of Spain's most iconic food tradition: Tapas! We will cover four of the most iconic tapas in Spain including Gambas al Ajillo, shrimp sauteed with paper-thin sliced garlic with a touch of arbol chili and Spanish sherry wine. Next up is Ensaladilla Rusa con Atún, a humble yet delicious potato and egg salad topped with Spanish tuna conserva. Another Spanish classic that will be showcased is the Tortilla Española, a remarkable frittata-style omelette with confit onion and potato suspended in a creamy center. The final savory offering is Fideua de Mariscos - a seafood "paella" that replaces rice with short thin noodles. As a sweet finish to the evening we will also learn how to make a Tarta de Santiago.
