
Chef Justin's Italian Summer Feast - 07/23/25
This class showcases our very own Chef Justin DePhillips' favorite summertime Italian dishes! Starting off we have a Watermelon & Tomato Caprese - a fun and fruity spin on a traditional Caprese salad loaded with sweet watermelon, juicy summer-ripe heirloom tomatoes, creamy stracchiatella, and tons of fresh herbs. Next up is Crab Tortellini in Brodo - housemade crab and lemon tortellini floating in a savory and shockingly easy to prepare tomato consommé. For the main course: zesty lemony and perfectly briny Chicken Picatta with fresh capers and white wine. As a perfect pairing with the chicken, we will learn to prepare Spinachi alla Romana. Young leaf spinach sautéed with paper-thin slices of garlic, toasted pine nuts, and golden raisins. For dessert we will be covering Prosecco Zabaglione with Fresh Stonefruit.
