Learn to Knit: Simple Hat * Various Dates

Learn to knit and make a hatInstructor: Sharon Henderson It is that time of year!  A favorite class is back. You will be sure to impress family and friends with your new hat-making brilliance. This 3-hour class will advance knitting skills through working a project in the round.  This class is appropriate for all-age groups. Skills necessary.  Participants should know how to knit and purl  During this session you will learn:  How to knit in the round Longtail cast on Decreasing stitches How to pick up a dropped stitch How to fix a twisted stitch Materials 66 yards, Chunky yarn -- 1 skein Urth Koozoo, Malabrigo Rasta, or Fiesta yarn  recommended. Yarn can be chosen during class. US size 13 to 15, 16 inch circular needles Pattern available for free during class or download ahead of time from Ravelry ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sweet Pea Fiber offers a 10% discount on all class-specific supplies and materials.
