Love and Home Digital Quilt Pattern

So many scraps!  And what to do with them?  This fun pattern is a result of sewing that scraps together to create a fun colorful fabric.  The applique results in a curved look, reminiscent of the Cathedral Windows pattern only so much easier to make! Then get creative with your quilting.  Often, the addition of quilting stitches can totally transform a design into something entirely new. Create the Love and Home Pillow Cover and give yourself some practice on applique.  This month, I'm using a new technique utilizing washable glue stick.  It is surprisingly simple!  You can find my applique tutorial HERE. The finished Pillow Cover measures 12" x 12" and adds a pop of color to your room. The Love and Home Quilt Pattern measures 48" x 48".  The individual block sizes are 12" x 12" and you make 16 blocks using basic white and colorful scraps.  Stay with this size, or take on a challenge and add more blocks to create a queen or king sized quilt!
