MUG DIARIES: Dizzy

Dizzy I met Dizzy twice. Once when performing in Nice, he helped me up on the stage. I was dancing in front of the stage, most likely acting crazy and at the same time trying to get a picture of him and with my camera. He saw my awkwardness and extended his hand and pulled me up unto the stage to get a better shot. All those pictures were blurred. I was so nervous. Dizzy, this was Dizzy. Years later I met him again at the Monterey Jazz Festival. I was the stage designer with a full pass and access to all stages and performers.
