A plump frog carved in antler by Claudia Peina with jet inlaid eyes, smirk and webbed feet. There are two turquoise and two coral dots inlaid to the frog's back in the shape of a diamond with two jet dots inlaid at the top of the frog's front legs. Frogs are the result of water so are associated with the prominence of rain & are used to encourage the growth of crops. Zuni believe the frog is a reminder that we are all the same - development wise - we begin as tiny fishlike creatures in the womb then we evolve from swimmers to creatures of the land.
