US Nugget Hop Pellets

Bred in 1970 by the USDA breeding program in Oregon and released in 1983, Nugget is a high alpha cultivar that is beginning to gain some acceptance as a dual purpose variety. Its lineage includes Brewer's Gold, Canterbury Golding and Early Green. Mild and pleasant with spicy, herbal tones.    Selected from a cross between Brewers Gold and a high alpha male. Heavy, herbal and spicy aroma, extremely bitter. Used for medium to dark Ales and Lagers. Alpha: 12.2% Available in: 1 Ounce | 1 Pound
