Fluorite on Quartz “Bug Eye” Pocket, Inner Mongolia, China

Fluorite on Quartz  Huanggang Mines, Keshiketeng County, Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, China 4.5 x 3.5 x 2.7 cm A well formed green/purple crystallized ball of fluorite is nestled within a “candle quartz” style crystal cluster. The fluorite has a beautiful sparkling affect caused by the dozens of tiny octahedron fluorite shaped growths. This can be seen very well in both the photo and video. This specimens comes from a 2011 find and named the “Bug Eye” pocket after the fluorites resemblance to insect eyes.
