Custom Japanese Knife handle (wa handle) for 165-210mm : Wild Olive (Olea oleaster) and desert ironwood

This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.  Suited for a 165-210 mm  gyuto or other Japanese knife. The wild-olive (Ancient Greek κότινος/kótinos), which ancient Greeks distinguished from the cultivated olive tree (Ancient Greek ἐλαία/ἐλἀα), was used to fashion the olive wreath awarded victors at the ancient Olympic Games.
