It has a grounding weight without being too hefty and  a perfectly balanced huggable handle. Its curvy waist, and smooth cuppable base, make this mugs comfortable to hold in a variety of ways.  ~ These photos were taken with photo booth lighting next to a sunny window to highlight the glaze color and detail which will differ in normal indoor lighting.   ~ Made on the wheel with Laguna B-Mix clay and food safe glazes.    CARE RECOMMENDATIONS: Although my pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, I encourage treating these pieces like a well loved treasure that will be passed down by limiting microwave and dishwasher use.  I have lost a few well loved and irreplaceable Renaissance festival mugs over the years that I’ve learned how to care f
