01-D New Wave Notched Mug, 21 oz.

Note:  the matte black glaze seems to show hand residue more than gloss glass glazes, but is easily washed off SPECS:  3 1/8 inches wide at the rim, 6 5/8 inches tall and holds 21 oz.   Exciting new variation of the Electric Wave Combo!  This is truly an elegant mug. The golden brown rim gives way to intense cascades of vibrant, wispy blue that spills over a matte black base. The inside is glazed with red and a band of golden brown at the inner rim. The notch at the rim is meant to tuck the teabag string into so it doesn't fall into the scalding water. The handle has a comfortable four finger grip and is the perfect shape for this beautiful mug.     ~This piece was photographed in a photo booth with full spectrum lighting and may look different in different lighting conditions.  ~Made on the wheel with Laguna B-Mix clay and food safe glazes.  ~Although, technically, my pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, we do not recommend it since they are works of art that should be treated
