Brightness will vary in different lighting conditions ~Due to the nature of my multilayered glazing style,  a subtle crackle effect may form in the exterior glazing of some pieces.  Different pottery traditions put different values on this effect but the Eastern pottery tradition sees it as a sought after feature and not something to avoid. Like with Eastern teaware, this effect may evolve as your mug matures. This only occurs on the outside of the piece due to the varying overlapping glaze layers and does not affect its integrity.   ~ Made on the wheel with Laguna B-Mix clay and food safe gl
