Midcentury Rosenthal China Dinner Service, Midnight Sun Pattern by Raymond Loewy

A lovely and rare dinner service by Rosenthal (Germany), Form 2000.  Designed by Raymond Loewy this pattern was manufactured between 1963 and 1977, the stamp has been attributed to a 1963 manufacturing.  The service was clearly rarely used.  It appears in like new condition.  One dinner plate has some darkening in the gold sun (see images) but the rest of the pieces are in excellent condition.  The service includes: 12 dinner plates (10.25") 12 salad plates (8.25") 12 bread plates (6") 10 coffee cups 11 saucers 12 small fruit bowls (4.75") 5 large bowls (7.25") 4 butter plates 1 serving platter (oval 12.75" x 9.75)
