A large, lovely original abstract painting by Alice Wright Uhlmann (1911-2002) titled "Mesa Blanco". Her paintings often incorporated textured surfaces and a more muted color palette. The canvas is mostly done in pastel hues. It is very calming. It is framed in a simply silver metal frame. The frame has some light scratches. Wright-Uhlmann studied art at the University of Michigan and also The Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. She lived and worked for a time in Evanston IL. Dimensions: 51.5" W x 35.5"H x 2.25"D
