Panicum virgatum 'Heavy Metal'  Common name: Switchgrass 'Heavy Metal'  The metallic blue foliage has a nice upright shape. The foliage turns to bright yellow in the fall. In mid-summer, airy pinkish-beige plumes appear above the foliage. Use in mass plantings, screening, alongside ponds, and in large containers.
