This is the hinge at the bottom of the Hobie 18 mast that flips on a pin used to raise the mast. This is the part that often breaks if the mast gets loose as you are raising it. Better this part than the whole mast !!! No riveting so it is easy to replace and get back sailing. part # 60650011
