DescriptionYou're looking at a 2016 Gibson Les Paul Tribute in a satin Tobacco Sunburst finish that that is really pretty. This guitar is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition. When you strap it on, the first thing you notice is it won't break your back. The mahogany body still has all the sustain and tone of a Paul but with some weight relief (8 pounds, 5 ounces). The next thing you notice is the TONE from the P90 pickups on board, and the legendary SlimTaper 60s neck profile feels good in the hands. The creme covered P90s are rare on this model and make it extra special.
These satin finish Tribute models have a thin finish that won't choke your tone, and they also tend to relic quickly. Some nice details--the green tulip Kluson tuners, large neck inlays, and aged plastics and gold knobs--make it a vintage/modern hybrid and great looking guitar. Cosmetically, it's very clean beyond a few small marks and some finish wear on the neck (see pics below).
