The all-over broken rib texture is easy to memorize and fun to knit, and i- cord edges keep this shawl nice and tidy. This pattern really shows off speckled, tonal, or light variegated hand-dyed yarn beautifully. I used one skein of Miss Babs Hand Dyed Yarns Yowza for my sample, a huge 225g skein that I picked up at Stitches West. I love how the texture and colors play together! This shawl is perfect for adventurous beginner knitters and will fly off your needles! This asymmetrical boomerang shawl is worked from one corner out to the bind-off edge, using a clever combination of increases and decreases to create the triangular shape. To change the size of the shawl, simply work more or fewer repeats! This shawl was made in collaboration with Miss Babs Hand Dyed Yarns. I highly recommend Miss Babs’ Yowza DK for this project!
