Anova by Cassapinka (Digital Pattern)
This pattern is a digital pattern that will be emailed to you from Ravelry. Please leave your Ravelry name in the “instructions to seller” portion of your shopping cart before proceeding to check out. 😊 This is marled and requires no knowledge of stranded knitting and is great for beginning knitters! There are two patterns included with this: 1. A Seamed Wrap (shown) and 2. A Rectangular shawl. The shawl was not tested but was made available in case you’d rather do that shape. You can use 2 schematics to plan out the shawl version. The wrap has 29 stripes. Each stripe takes 5g of a fingering weight contrasting color so if you have a standard 20g/80 yard mini-skein, you can get 4 stripes per mini-skein. So, you can use: A set of 8/10 minisA set of 24 and repeat 5 of them29 differing scraps etc. The shawl uses 46 stripes. Yarn Amounts: Fingering WeightWrap 23 X 50” / 58.5 x 127cmBackground color: Approximately 1100 yards (1400 if you want to do the optional cowl neck in the background color.) You can see that on the “back” (it’s reversible) I ran out of my main color and I was in California so I just used a different color and I like it. I used a set from an undisclosed dyer (can’t spoil anything) combined with some of my own minis. Mini-skeins: 29 stripes X 5g per stripe of a Contrasting Color. Rectangular Shawl - 18 X 76” / 46 X 30 cm.Background color: Approximately 1100 yardsMini -skeins - 46 stripes X 5g per stripe of a Contrasting Color. For the Wrap, one edge is ribbed (the seamed edge) and the bottom edge is an i-cord. The shawl has I-cord at both edges. Needles: US 6
