Eclipse 2024 - Phases and the Trees

Awesome, Totality Awesome. What a journey it has been chasing this eclipse. We've been planning to see another total solar eclipse since 2017 when getting to observe one in Oregon. First, we planned a trip to South America for an eclipse in 2020, which was up-ended by COVID travel restrictions. Then for the 2024 eclipse, we tried to plan it for Mexico, but logistics got in our way. Last year, we booked Texas as the best location. Unfortunately, a week or so ago, early cloud forecasts made us re-think our plans. We ultimately landed on Quebec, Canada. Our journey to our location began on Friday evening. An hour before landing during our flight to Montreal, we were informed that we would instead be landing in Toronto. After a long night without much sleep, we got a flight over to Montreal the next morning. Unfortunately, all five of our bags full of camera equipment were not onboard. This led to *DAYS* of fighting with the airline to locate them and have them urgently delivered.
