Spotfin Butterflyfish

Spotfin Butterflyfish 3 – 6 inches, max. 8 inches Florida, Bahamas, Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico; also north to Bermuda and south to Brazil I have seen these beautiful Butterflyfish in the Turks and Caicos, Cozumel and Roatan. But on one trip to Cozumel, these guys seemed to have a presence in nearly every dive. So, I was able to get a good look at them and assumed that the gods of art and nature were encouraging me to paint them.
