Eggs-traordinary Physics Camp Grades: 6-8 Number of Students:‚ 30 Contact Hours: 12 Lesson Plan Sample This physics-focused camp turns the study of motion and mass into applied projects! Students spin, toss, race, and design throughout this camp to learn about ideas of motion such as velocity or speed and how gravity plays a role in each of these activities. These egg activities are not only engaging but provide valuable reinforcement of physics concepts, which often can be difficult to understand without physical demonstrations. Teamwork is encouraged with activities involving partners or groups to reach success, while engineering skills are cultivated during the design of new egg transport systems.
