Expertly designed for SteelFreak round fire pit grates, our Super Duty Ember Retainer provides unparalleled durability with its custom-fit and super heavy duty 1/4 inch plate construction. Thanks to the strategically placed one inch holes, this ember retainer keeps the hot coals close to the logs for longer. This helps the firewood burn more completely while still allowing for proper airflow. Please note that ember retainers are a wear item. Although ours are many times more durable than our competitors' ember retainers made from thin expanded metal, they are still designed to be replaced if and when they wear out. These items are designed specifically to fit SteelFreak Wagon Wheel (RGS) and Classic (RGC) model round fire pit grates.  If you don't see your model as an option yet, let us know and we'll get yours added to the list!
