The Luxo Wave LED UV is ideal for the inspection of conformal coatings as well as for the detailed inspection of welds, solder joints and other areas of stress concentration. Wave LED UV offers shadow-free magnification with light coming from both sides, as well as three-dimensional magnification with light coming from the left or right. The flexibility of the joint between lamp head and arm makes exact positioning easy. The spring balanced arm provides maximum vertical and horizontal movement, and will always stay in the right position without drifting. This standard version is supplied with a 3.5-diopter (1.88X) optical-quality glass lens. Luxo UV Magnifiers are primarily designed for the inspection of conformal coatings. UV tracer conformal coatings observed under the WAVE UV lightsource glow a dark purple color allowing for easy identification of uncoated areas.
