A large French writing desk or library desk made in Neoclassical Louis XVI style, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid mahogany wood featuring a rectangular top covered with burgundy red leather. Additionally, the top has two pull-out extension leaves making the total length of the top 101 inches. The wood showcases a naturally aged patina with a rich brown color and grains. The desk is fronted with a total of five drawers construction with dovetail joins. The desk comes with one key. The desk is raised on carved tapered legs ending with brass shoes.
