 A lovely pair of antique side chairs made in the style of Louis XVI, sourced from Provence, France. Each chair showcases a hand-crafted frame, featuring an oval-shaped back hand-painted in creamy white color decorated with blue paint accents showcasing a naturally aged patina. The chairs have been structurally restored and newly upholstered in light blue color linen fabric by Scalamandre. The fabric has been clean-finished with matching double-piping trim. Supported by gracefully tapered, fluted legs culminating in toupie feet, characteristic of the Louis XVI style, the front legs captivate with beautifully carved rosettes on the corners.
