An exquisite set of six antique French dining chairs made in the style of Louis XVI, sourced from Provence, France. Each chair features a hand-molded frame adorned with an oval-shaped medallion back. Hand-painted in creamy, antique white paint showcasing a naturally aged patina with some characterful distressed areas. The chairs have been structurally restored and newly upholstered in luxurious gray-blue chenille fabric by Glant. The fabric has been clean-finished with matching welt trim. Supported by gracefully tapered, fluted legs culminating in toupie feet, characteristic of the Louis XVI style, the front legs captivate with beautifully carved rosettes on the corners.
