A handsome late 19th-century French chest of drawers made in the style of Louis Philippe, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid mahogany wood with rich brown color and grains. The commode is crowned with a lovely Carrara marble top with rounded front corners showcasing a naturally aged patina. The chest is fronted with three large storage drawers and one secret drawer on top. The drawers are constructed with dovetail joins and come with the original locks and one key. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a traditional French Louis Philippe profile.  - Origin: Provence, France - Dimensions: W 49.5" x D 22.25" x H 36.75" - Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use.
