OrSlow is consistently one of our most popular brands, and for good reason - their combinations of great fits, custom fabrics, and handsome styles fit easily into almost any wardrobe. Founded in 2005 by designer Ichiro Nakatsu, OrSlow takes it’s name from Ichiro’s desire to make the opposite of fast fashion, or ‘slow clothing’, as he would put it. The Denim Overlap Skirt is part of OrSlow's women's line, cut with button front and two bucket pockets. It's a very minimal piece, with workwear details in the construction — chainstitching, double-needle felled seams, and bartack reinforcements will keep everything together for a long time. It's made from a lightweight (10oz) version of OrSlow's signature one wash denim, a fantastic and completely proprietary Japanese selvedge denim. Woven with 100% cotton yarns, it's a slubby denim with a lower tension, a soft hand, and subtly hairy texture.
