-50°F or colder. Yellow, blushed red. Ripens in September. A ussurian pear. Krasnobokaya, meaning something akin to “red-sided,” is appropriately named. This medium-sized green pear will develop a very slight blush as it ripens. Sweet flesh with astringent skin; fruit that will keep up to 2 months. Originally evaluated by the South-Ural Research Institute of Fruit & Vegetable Growing. 3-5 foot pears.
