Recorded at the famed Memphis Quartet Show in the birthplace of Blues and Gospel music, EHSS gets back to their traditional roots, reimagining and rearranging quartet classics from 1929 through the early 1970s. During these decades it wasn't uncommon for Gospel music, Spirituals, Broadway show tunes and American Songbook favorites to co-exist on recordings and in live concert performances. This is the experience created and produced here for the listener.
