Akai M-10 Three Motor Auto Reverse Stereo Tape Recorder Reel to Reel Deck (AS IS)

The Akai M-10 is an incredible reel-to-reel player and recorder. This deck features 4-track stereo/monaural recording/playback, two ICs, and sensing tape or manual reverse. It also has three heads - but not the usual three. It features an erase head, a combined play/record head, and a cross-field head for improved fidelity of high frequencies. This system currently plays but is missing the play and rewind / fast-forward knobs, so for the right person who wants to give this amazing system the service and care it needs, it can become the perfect reel-to-reel deck! CONDITION Both the inside and outside along with all components and pots have been 100% cleaned with CRC. Every switch and mode has been tested and confirmed working. Cosmetic Condition: Missing the play and rewind / fast-forward controls. It has two different pairs of feet. Functional Condition: Good, as-is (the system plays fine). WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
