1848 GEORGE MULLER. Original Letter to an Ill Friend on Breaking Bread. Very Rare.

A very rare 1p. ALS by George Muller, complete with original hand-addressed envelope, apparently delivered by hand. We have handled a small handful of signed donation slips over the years, but perhaps only one or two other letters in the last 25 years total.  As follows: 21 Paul St, Kingsdown,Feby 19, '48 My Dear Sister, I am glad you are so much better. We shall be glad to see you at the breaking of bread, whenever you are able to come. I thank you for bringing the two decanters. I would gladly write more, were not my hands so exceedingly full of work. Yours affectionately in Our Lord,George Muller.  In good + condition.
