1880 HENRY WARD BEECHER. Six Month Run of His Paper. Slavery, Apologetics, Social Issues, &c.

A very scarce six-month run of Henry Ward Beecher's paper, The Christian Union. Similarly to Talmage's paper, Beecher's addressed a broad spectrum of issues and counseled Christians [and Americans more broadly] regarding the ethical and practical responses requisite.
