Very nicely produced and accompanied by a very thin, fresh-faced engraving of Spurgeon and a biographical sketch original to the volume by E. L. Magoon.  Magoon, E. L. [Ed.]. "The Modern Whitfield." Sheldon, Blakeman & Co. 1856. 320pp. A good copy, bound in cloth that's faded with part of the spine rubbed through. Generally solid, with one signature a bit forward in the binding, and pages have some moderate foxing.
