A really attractive 1826 John Arundel Letter as Secretary of the London Missionary Society Gifting Works by Robert Morrison and William Ellis in Appreciation of a Donor. A 1p ALS by John Arundel, Secretary of the London Missionary Society, to Dr. Ramsay sending him copies or Robert Morrison’s Chinese Miscellany and Ellis’s Narrative of a Tour of Hawaii in gratitude. Arundel was the Secretary during a critical time, being the main contact point for David Livingstone and other pioneers. A charming piece of LMS memorabilia mentioning two important works. Some wear and tear at left side, address panel absent, but letter complete.
