Javelin Parsnip Seeds
Broaden your root vegetable horizons by adding these hearty parsnips to your garden. Compared to other varieties, "Javelin" has excellent canker resistance, making it easier to keep them in the ground longer. With a lengthier growing period of 110 days, be sure to plant these seeds early. These parsnips have a distinctly sweet flavor that is enhanced by cool temperatures. Resist the urge to harvest until after the first frost in order to experience the sweetest of flavors. Days to Maturity: 110 days Family: Apiaceae Native: Eurasia Hardiness: Biennial grown as annual.
