Reviews: 91 points John Gilman, "The wine is nicely ripe at 13.5 percent octane and offers up a deep, sappy and complex bouquet of red and black cherries, raw cocoa, mustard seed, pigeon, a lovely base of soil and a touch of new oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and complex, with a good core, fine soil transparency, moderate tannins and lovely focus and balance on the long and classy finish. There is just a touch of baked fruit tones like a 1982 Bordeaux here that is very attractive. It will need a bit of time in the cellar to blossom, but will be a lovely villages once it is ready to drink. (JG)"
