Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, it's concentrated and indeed rather taut and introverted right now, but I suspect it will flesh out by the time of bottling. (WK)" 93 points John Gilman, "The bouquet is deep and complex, offering up scents of red currants, sweet dark berries, gamebird, dark soil tones, bonfire, sweet stem tones, a touch of cedary oak and plenty of Savigny spices in the upper register. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and again, very elegant in profile, with good depth at the core, lovely soil inflection and grip, fine-grained tannins and lovely length and grip on the beautifully balanced finish.
