Reviews: 90 points John Gilman, "Philippe Jouan's 2021 Morey villages is excellent, and 'tres Morey St. Denis' in personality, as Monsieur Jouan so aptly described it. The bouquet is bright, red fruity and complex, wafting from the glass in a mix of cherries, beetroot, woodsmoke, gamebird, a lovely base of soil and just a touch of oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, elegant and beautifully transparent down to its underlying soil, with a good core of fruit, fine-grained tannins and lovely lift and grip on the well balanced finish.
