This durable plastic MC4 key is very handy for both the assembly of custom MC4 wires, and also for breaking connections after they have already been locked together. For extension wire assembly purposes, we recommend using two keys. Color may vary. Please note that for custom MC4 cables, an MC4 crimp tool is required. The MC4 contact sleeves need a very specific type of crimp profile that will not be possible with standard tools.
