Early Isamu Noguchi Akari Floor Lamp 10A, 1950s

A great early vintage example of Isamu Noguchi's Light sculpture Table Lamp 10A, comes with an extra shade. Original packaging for the 10A shade with 10A stamp on the corner of the paper packaging The bright red Sun and Moon stamp on the shade indicates that this is the earliest edition of Noguchi's Akari and it has rarely been used. "Made in Japan" appears alongside the Ozeki original sticker on the BB1 base. The shade is in good vintage condition, with some discoloration due to age, and one small pin hole.  This lamp will come with 2 shades. A rare and soulful piece of light sculpture.
