CH23 Chairs by Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen and Son in Oak and Teak

The CH23 is one of the first chairs Hans J. Wegner exclusively designed for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1950. This simplistic chair actually incorporates many sophisticated details, such as the cruciform cover caps in the backrest, a double-woven seat, and arched rear legs for optimal stability. This vintage set of CH23 are made of Oak and Teak, a collectible version that is no longer manufactured. All chairs have been newly restored and re-weaved with new papercord.
