The 1” diameter steel rod is paired with beefy tie rod ends—3/4” outer tie rods and rebuildable inner tie rods that use 3/4” rod threads and 16 mm rack threads. All that strength lets you get wild. Swaged Tube Tie RodsOur steel swaged tube tie rods are lightweight but strong. Our swaged design significantly improves the strength of the 7/8” diameter tubing. They feature 16 mm inner ball and sockets along with 14 mm outer tie rod ends to make sure the weak points are as strong as possible. They’re perfect for the casual rider that’s tired of their stock performance. Looking for a More Traditional Rack?If you don’t need all the benefits of a RackBoss 2.0, you can dial it back to our original, more traditional RackBoss 1.0. It uses the same beefy housing but doesn’t include the extra PTFE bushing.
